Every month the Historic Downtown area is filled with activities!


On the 4th Saturday of the month, we have our 4th Saturday Street Fair with vendors traveling from all over to bring their wares for purchase, filling up our park, the bank parking lot across the street, and all up & down Oak Street as well as the side streets!


The Arcadia Rodeo


The Arcadia Rodeo hosts many events throughout the year. The largest is the Arcadia All–Championship Rodeo, which is held for four days in March on the second weekend of the month.

4th Saturday Street Fair


An enormous Antiques and Collectibles Fair held EVERY 4TH SATURDAY OF THE MONTH - YEAR ROUND, taking place on Oak Street, in the Sun Trust Parking lot and under the Tree of Knowledge.

Lions, Tigers and Bears Inc.


Lions Tigers and Bears is a non-profit organization dedicated to giving homes to unwanted exotic animals and endangered wildlife.


They are open to the public THURSDAYS - SUNDAYS for guided tours between 10AM and 2PM BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We are closed July and August.

Vintage Car Show



Held EVERY 3rd SATURDAY evening between 5pm and 9p in the Arcadia WalMart parking lot. Featuring vintage cars, music, trophies, door prizes and much more!

Held on the 1st Saturday of every month, this Olde Town Market partners up with the Main Street Farmer's Market and The Arts & Humanities of Desoto to bring you Antiques & Collectibles, fresh produce and unique arts and crafts from local artists.

Pioneer Days


Held on the 3rd Saturday in March, Pioneer Day offers family fun of all kinds. Special & traditional Florida foods, such as swamp cabbage and strawberry shortcake are available.  A “Discover History” hands-on area is FREE for children and includes old-fashioned toys, games and activities such as: cane pole fishing, the chance to experience washing with a scrub board & wash pot, using pitcher pump, writing with a dip pen, orange juicing, and much more. Demonstrators show off their skills in basket-weaving, black-smithing, butter-churning, candle dipping, quilting, & soap making, to name a few.

Dakin Dairy
